CAW Painting & Preservation was built around a principle that has guided our work for more than three decades: lasting property care starts with what happens before the final finish. Our background began in the U.S. Navy, painting ships where preparation, attention to existing conditions, and material preservation were essential parts of every project. Those lessons became the foundation for the work we provide today throughout Cincinnati, OH, and Northern Kentucky.
As a veteran- and family-owned business with local roots, we bring that preservation-first approach to homes, commercial properties, industrial facilities, and historic buildings. Painting remains central to our work, but our capabilities extend beyond applying new coatings. We handle appropriate drywall and plaster repair, exterior wood repair, surface restoration, roofing, gutters, siding, interior remodeling, flooring, and related property improvements when they form part of the project.
What sets our team apart is the way we approach existing materials. We evaluate what can reasonably be repaired, restored, or refinished before assuming replacement is necessary. Damaged drywall should be corrected before painting. Deteriorated wood should receive attention before refinishing. An active moisture source should be addressed before cosmetic repairs are expected to last. This process helps us approach each property according to its actual condition.
